Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAURIE ERIC (RICK) SHERIDAN Peacefully, on Wednesday, November 1, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Laurie Eric Sheridan, dearly beloved husband of Clara Ann, passed away concluding his courageous battle with PSP (Progressive SupraNuclear Palsy). Rick was predeceased by four brothers, Bob, George, Leo and Grant. Rick will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ann; his son David (Tracy) and his granddaughter Delaney, and nieces and nephews, Peggy, Greg, Barb, Linda, Darlene, Lorna, Jim, Joan and Carol. Rick was born in Central Butte, Saskatchewan on September 5, 1929 to Catherine and James. Rick was employed by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1946. His career took him to Regina where he met another CPR employee, Ann in 1950 and they were married on June 4, 1955. Rick was a relief agent for 15 locations in southern Saskatchewan, he later worked as a dispatcher in Regina, Moose Jaw and Saskatoon, coming to Manitoba in 1969 as a chief dispatcher in Brandon and Winnipeg. Rick was honoured by the CPR for his quick actions that saved the trans-continental passenger train from derailment. Ricks free time involved camping, golfing, curling and the fellowship of his friends and coworkers. One of his attributes included a willingness to assist others that dubbed him Mr. Fixit. Special thanks to Dr. Hobson, Dr. Babick and the staff from Riverview Day Hospital for their kindness. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4 at the Springs of Living Water Church, 595 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made in Ricks memory to the Springs of Living Water Church, Restoration House Outreach, P.O.
