FRANK WHITNEY On October 31, 2000 at the Beausejour Hospital, Frank Whitney, aged 69 years of Libau, Man. Frank had worked at the Manitoba Rolling Mills in Selkirk for many years until his retirement. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley in 1983; sister Betty in 1992; his father Cyril in 1994. Left surviving is his mother Ingeborg Whitney of Lac la Biche, Alta.; daughters, Lori Ducharme (George) of Winnipeg, Sandy Whitney (Fred Craig) of Parksville, B.C.; sons, Russell (Lynn) of St. Adolphe, James (Andrea) of Victoria, B.C.; one sister Dorothy Howarth of Calgary; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Beausejour Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare, 675 McDermot Ave., Wpg., R3E 0V9. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
