BEN ADLEMAN With deep sorrow and regret we announce the passing of Ben Adleman. Dad was born in Winnipeg on January 5, 1924. He was predeceased by his parents, Issac and Edith and his beloved wife of 49 years Esther. He is survived by and will be profoundly missed by his daughters Bonnie (Gabe) Shari and his loving grandchildren, Kyven, Heather, Ian and Jeffrey; brother Maurice and sister Marion (Morton) Sherman; brother-in-law Maury (Fran) Grinstain and sister-in-law Rae (Sam) Warhaft. His nephews Barrie, Sladen and Neil Adleman and their families held a special place in his heart, as well as Barbara Jean Kurland and Ira Sherman. Dad touched many lives and will be remembered as a kind caring person always putting the happiness and needs of his own friends and family before his own. Dad worked in the Film Industry for 57 years proudly until his retirement in June, 2000. The family would like to thank Dr. S. Koven and the nurses of the 4th floor, Unit 5 of Seven Oaks Hospital for all their care and compassion. Funeral Services were held at the Rosh Pina Synagogue on Wednesday, November 1 with Rabbi Rose and Cantor Daien officiating.
