Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANITA EVA HILDEBRAND (nee GREISS) It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our dear wife, daughter and sister on Wednesday, November 1, 2000 at the age of 34 years. Anita leaves to mourn her beloved husband Jeff of seven years; her parents Art and Anna Greiss; her sisters, Barbie and husband Richard, Angel, and her brother Art; her maternal Grandmother Maria Kukusik; mother-in-law and father-in-law Anne and Mel Hildebrand; brother-in-law Ashley; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Melissa and Kelvin Giesbrecht and their son Devon; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins in Manitoba and Germany and friends in Winnipeg. Anita was born August 10, 1966 in Winnipeg and attended and graduated from Daniel McIntyre Collegiate. She was employed by I.S.M. as a computer operator until her marriage to Jeff in 1993. Anita was a very loving wife, daughter, sister and friend and a woman of many talents whose interests included cross stitching, reading, drawing, photography, but most of all spending time with her beloved husband and family. She especially enjoyed playing with the family pet cat Ryo-Ohki. One of Anitas many dreams was to go to Jamaica and her wish came true when she and Jeff went one year ago. Anita was an entrepreneur starting her own "Pyro Beef Jerky" business and worked very hard at this dream. Anita was a very special and loving young woman and all her family will deeply miss her smile, her laughter and just being with her. If friends so desire, donations in Anitas memory may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of Canada, Winnipeg Chapter, Box 88, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2G1. Special thanks to the caregivers at Victoria General Hospital for all their care, kindness and compassion. Prayers for Anita will be said on Sunday afternoon, November 5, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Luxton Avenue. Viewing will be one hour prior to the Service at the Church from 1-2 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Kilcona Park Alliance Church, 1977 Norris Avenue with Pastor Ken Johnston officiating.
