HARRY OSWALD Peacefully on November 3, 2000, Harry E. Oswald passed away at the Resthaven Nursing Home in Steinbach. Dad was born on March 26, 1907 in Friedensfeld, Man. Our Dad married our Mother, Matilda Beckman on November 12, 1929. They were involved in farming all their life until retirement in 1969 at which time they moved to Winnipeg. On April 22, 1991 he moved back to Steinbach to reside at the Resthaven Nursing Home. He is survived by two sons, Ken and wife Corinne and Edwood and wife Gwen. He is also survived by one daughter Gladys Irene and husband Karl Kazakoff. Also surviving are six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one brother Art. He was predeceased by his wife Matilda on January 12, 1989. He was also predeceased by one son Eugene Wesley on February 16, 1960. Funeral services will be held on November 8 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 465 Henry St., with Pastor Al Maier officiating. Interment to follow at St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery on Highway 12 South. Following the service a lunch will be served in the lower auditorium of the church. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Resthaven Nursing Home, 185 Woodhaven Ave., Steinbach, MB R0A 2A0.
