WILLIAM F. KLIPPEL Suddenly, following a brief illness William Klippel passed away on November 6, 2000 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 83 years. William will be sadly missed by his son Wayne, sisters Christine and Ella both of Winnipeg, brother Ed ( Ruby) of California, sister-in-law Anne of Selkirk and numerous nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his wife Elsa in 1991, brothers Philip in 1991 and Charles in October 2000. William was born and spent his early years in Plumas, Manitoba, before the family moved to Transcona. William worked for the C.N. for 35 years, retiring in 1976. He served for four years overseas during the Second World War. William enjoyed reading, watching hockey, baseball and boxing. In keeping with Williams wishes, there will be no formal service.
