Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAUDIC (WALTER) CZWARTACKI On November 4, 2000, at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Walter Czwartacki, aged 70 years, passed away peacefully with his children by his side. He was born on August 12, 1930 in the R.M. of Gimli and had lived and farmed there until moving to Winnipeg in 1974. He was predeceased by his father Peter in 1960 and two infant grandchildren, Walter and Priscilla. He leaves surviving his mother Pauline; sister Nellie (Bill) brother John; special and loving friend Sophie; his beloved children, Diane (Hal), Bev (Art), Walter (Eleanor), Evie (Tom), Gail (Ben), and Eileen (Les) grandchildren, Anthony, Jon, Vince, Stacy, Janet (Larry), Wayne (Kim), Tommy, Warren, Pamela, Dayna, Alyson, Stuart and Curtis; his great-grandchildren, Julia, Clayton, Darren, Dustin and Deny; and nieces and nephews. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, November 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gimli Funeral Chapel with Deacon Ray Sutton officiating. Interment to follow in the Polish Pioneer Cemetery, Sandy Hook. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 "A Father holds his childrens hands for awhile, but he holds their hearts forever."
