Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH DAVID WIELER 1949 - 2000 Accidentally, as a result of a motor vehicle mishap, on Saturday, November 4, 2000, north-west of Winkler, Ken Wieler, aged 51 years, of Winkler, formerly of Hochfeld, went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Verna Wieler (nee Doell) one daughter Shelly and Ian Harder of Plum Coulee; four sons, Travis and Marilyn of Rosengart and their son Xander; Shannen & Ailanis of Winnipeg; Dwayne of Winkler; Kelley of Calgary, AB; four sisters, Helen and Ed Rempel of Niverville; Tina and Bernie Braun of Altona; Ella and Peter Zacharias of Winkler; Eva and Ernie Peters of Winkler; three brothers John Wieler of Morden; Abe and Maggie Wieler of Winkler; Richard and Linda Wieler of MacGregor and their families. He was predeceased by parents Cornelius J. and Eva Wieler; one sister Eva, and two brothers Victor and Leo Wieler. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m., Wednesday from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home Winkler (121 8th St.) and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2:00 p.m. at the Winkler E.M.M. Church (600 Southview Dr.) with Pastor Dale Dueck and Rev. Jerry Hildebrand officiating. Interment will follow at the Winkler Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan available at the church. Wiebe Funeral Home Winkler in care of arrangements, 204-325-4201.
