HELEN I. AFFLECK It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Affleck, our mom, grandma, great-grandma and auntie on November 1, 2000. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Beatrice (Phil) MacPhail and her three grandchildren, Linda (Gerald), Bruce, Carol and great-grandson Vinnie. Mom will also be dearly missed by her son Gordon and her grandchildren, Darlene (Rick) and great-grandson J.J. and Brian (Anne) and great-grandson Russell. She will also be missed by her niece Mildred Salter. Mom was born in Carman, MB on November 17, 1916 and spent most of her adult life in Winnipeg working in the food and catering business. Mom was predeceased by her two brothers, Jack and Andy and by her sister Catherine and daughter-in-law Beverley Affleck. The family would like to thank all the home care staff and VON nurses who made Moms stay in her home possible for the last couple of years. In accordance with Moms wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
