EDNA BELLE LITTLER Edna Belle Littler passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2000 at Central Park Lodge in c, MB. Edna, the eldest daughter of Jean and George Harrison, was born August 12, 1915, in Nesbitt, MB. She was raised in Wawanesa, MB, and in her youth enjoyed softball, tennis, and skating. After completing a Business Course she worked in Brandon and Winnipeg. She met Evan Littler in Winnipeg and they were married in 1943. Edna supported him in his career with the Royal Bank in Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Thunder Bay, and Brandon. Together they enjoyed curling and golf. She was a member of St. Matthews Cathedral and a member of the Rotary Ann Inner Wheel. She valued those friendships and those of her lifelong friends, Jean Wallace and Doris McKecknie. She was predeceased by her husband Evan; parents, Jean and George Harrison; sister Ethel Harrison, sister and brother-in-law Alma and John Poole; and brother-in-law Eric Littler. Edna is survived by her loving family Barbara and Harvey Laluk, Craig (Joanna), Scott, Todd, Laird, Chad and Aynsley; sister-in-law Ragna Littler; nieces, nephews and cousins. She treasured her time with her grandchildren and shared in their successes with pride. The service to celebrate the life of Edna Littler will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel on Wednesday, November 8 at 1:00 p.m., with the Very Rev. James Njegovan of St. Matthews Cathedral officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 203-42 McTavish Ave., E., Brandon, MB R7A 2B2, or to a charity of choice.
