BERNEST EDWARD CHRUSCH (BERNIE) Peacefully, on November 5, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital on He was predeceased by his father John (Jack) Chrusch in 1956. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Reine Cormier; daughter Brenda Davidiuk (Rick) sons Bruce, Berry and Bud (Terry) stepchildren Donald (Kim), Valerie (David) and Daniel; grandsons Shawn and Josh Davidiuk; parents Harry and Mary Zalischuk; his sister Jeanette Trach (Nester) and his niece Lynn. Bernie was born on August 1, 1934 in Stead, MB. The family moved to Winnipeg when he was six years old. He grew up with a passion for cars; the more to fix, the happier he was. Bernie was always ready to help family and friends. He was also an avid camper and fisherman. Bernie worked for Pepsi, Humpty Dumpty Potato Chips and eventually retired from Manitoba Lotteries Corporation in 1998. Cremations has taken place. Funeral Mass will be said from St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Road on Wednesday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow back at the church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bernies memory to Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
