ROSS GEORGE BROWN 1949 - 2000 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ross (Rosco) Brown, born in Pine Falls, Mb. on November 19, 1949. At the age of 17, Ross joined the Armed Forces and served as a military policeman for five years. He then returned to Pine Falls and was employed with the Pine Falls Paper Company. He was predeceased by his father Keith. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sharon and sons, Justin and Jody and special friend Katrina; his mother Phyllis; brothers Rick (Judy), Randy (Cheryl), Shawn (Karen) and sister Lori (Lloyd) many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Ross was actively involved in the community as a volunteer fireman, hockey player, coach and referee, and was a member of the Lions Club, Golf Club and a Legion member. Ross loved the sport of fishing! Our family wishes to thank the doctors and nursing staff at the Pine Falls Hospital. Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 9 at 1:30 p.m. followed by funeral liturgy at 2:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church, Powerview, Mb. with Rev. Fr. Rene Chartier presiding. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Mb.
