ROSE VIOLA GROTIKE Peacefully on Monday, November 6, 2000 Rose Grotike aged 92 years of Stonewall, passed away. Born July 16, 1908 at Praie Grovrie, MB, the daughter of William and Whilemina Grotike. She moved with her family to a farm in the Stonewall area in 1915 where she lived until 1969 when they bought a home in Kelowna, BC. In 1971 they moved back to Stonewall. She was predeceased by her mother and father and brothers and sisters. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of the Ascension Stonewall with Rev. John Holmen and Rev. C. Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in the Stonewall Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Ascension Building Fund, Stonewall, MB. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
