Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD DEAN EARL Peacefully on November 6, 2000, Harold Earl passed away at the Morris General Hospital at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Verna; his daughter Donna Bremaud (Ron) his son Gordon (Grace) grandchildren, Ryan, Anthony, and Erin Bremaud, Kevin, Brian, and Kerri Earl; sister Lois Goldsmith (Kenneth) of Kenora, ON; sister-in-law Joy Earl of Fresno, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Olive Earl; sister Marguerite Dudgeon, and brother Delmar. Harold was born on the farm at Silver Plains, MB on March 5, 1921. He served in the Air Force during the Second World War as a member of the #5 B.R. Squadron. After the war, he returned to the farm. In September, 1949 he married Verna Calder and they farmed together until they retired to Morris in 1977. Harold enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, and golf, and was proud of his hole-in-one. He served as Councillor and Reeve of the R.M. of Morris, Past President and life member of the Morris Legion Branch No. 111, and was very active in numerous community organizations. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. in the Morris United Church. The family thanks Dr. Fraser and nurses of the Morris Hospital for their compassionate care.
