Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHEA ZAWIDOSKI It is with great sadness that we announce the passing our beautiful Mother, Grandmother and Sister Dorothea Zawidoski on November 4, 2000 at Concordia Hospital. Dorothea was predeceased in 1972 by her husband George and in 1993 after many shared sunsets, Ralph Berkowski. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Gregory (Cindy), Kimberly, Shelley and Jeffery. Her grandchildren, Lindsay, George, Johnny, Leanna and her step-grandchildren, Shannon, Curtis and Lauren. She is also survived by her sister Bernice (Harold). Dorothea was born in Wordsworth Saskatchewan April 24, 1931. She grew up in Winnipeg where she met and married George in 1955 and raised her four children. she worked as a secretary throughout her years and retired from Winnipeg Fur Exchange in 1987. Dorothea faced her illness with courage and humour. She regarded the staff at Concordia not only as hospital workers but as friends, and for that we are forever grateful. Thank you to Dr. J. Wozney for his care and concern. Special thanks to Dr. Charlene Wells who went the extra mile. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. with Pastor Kruesel officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Childrens wish foundation. The storms had passed The sky was bright When she closed her eyes To say good night When peace embraced Her quiet face She left this earth With gentle grace ....On angels wings.
