ANN DUTKEVICH Suddenly, on November 3, 2000, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt left all who loved her, barely 3 months before her 93rd birthday. Born on February 3, 1908 in Dnipropetrovsk, Russia, the middle daughter of Chaim and Slava Klempner, she immigrated to Canada in 1924 where she began working in the garment industry as a "finisher" of womens coats and suits, until her retirement in 1976. She was predeceased by her husband Nick in 1972, her parents and nine brothers and sisters. She leaves to mourn her daughter Sally Narr (Frank), son Joe Dutkevich (Karen), granddaughter Heather Cantor (Edward), and the absolute joys of her life her great-grandchildren Alexa and Ryan Cantor. Funeral services were held November 6 at BNay Abraham Cemetery. Shiva to continue until Thursday evening November 9 at 206 Park Place East. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society and the Winnipeg Humane Society.
