Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE EVELYN TOMCHUK Rose Evelyn died peacefully at Hearthstone Assisted Living Home under Hospice care on November 2, 2000 in Garland, Texas. Born in Oakburn, Manitoba on January 27, 1915. She was Aunty Rose to her many nieces and nephews of multiple generations from her eight siblings. Mike, her beloved husband of 51 years, preceded her in death in 1990. Mike and Rose migrated to Chicago in 1952. In 1975 they retired in Altona. After Mikes death, Rose moved to the Dallas metroplex in 1991 to live with her son Kens family. She is survived by her sons Art (Pat) and Ken (Karen) grandchildren Amy, Jennifer, Brandon, Danielle, and Joseph; and great-granddaughters Chelsea and Caylon. Visitation will be Thursday November 9, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 10 at 2:00 PM at St Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044
