GEORGE BRAIS February 21, 1938 - November 7, 2000 George passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2000 at the Health Science Centre. George is survived by his brother Etienne (Helene) Brais; his sisters, Therese Vuignier, Georgette (Arthur) Houle, Jeanette Velcich, Rose-Marie (Raymond) Petit, Fleur-Ange (Richard) Scott, Francoise (George) Goovaerts and sisters-in-law Ruth and Eva Brais and brothers-in-law Robert McKay and Fernand Remillard and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Melina; his brothers, Marcel, Alexis and Gilles and sisters, Aline McKay, Renee Remillard and Germaine Brais. Many thanks to the wonderful staff of GD400 Ward at the Health Science Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Georges memory to the Cancer Care Manitoba, ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Prayers will be said at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10 at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11 at the St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, St. Joseph, Manitoba with Father Lionel Thibault presiding.
