DAVID PATTYN Peacefully, on Tuesday, November 7, 2000 Mr. David Pattyn, aged 87 years, passed away at the Ste. Anne Hospital with his family by his side. David was predeceased by his beloved wife Evangeline Pattyn (nee Champagne) May 13, 1998; daughter Anne-Marie; two brothers, Leon and Lucien; three sisters, Virginie, Sylvie and Yvonne. Dad leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Gil (Mimmi), Yvette (Paul) Charriere; Gisele (Gene) Jubinville and Denis (Claudette) 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Zenobie and Marie, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was born and raised in Ste. Anne, Man. where he farmed until his retirement. He enjoyed all sports especially baseball and hockey and also a solid game of cards. Dad cherished his family, grandchildren, and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Davids name to either the Ste. Anne Hospital, 52 St. Gerard St., Ste. Anne, MB, R5H 1C4 or to the Villa Youville, 208 Centrale Ave., Ste. Anne, MB, R5H 1C9. Sincere thank you to all the staff of the Ste. Anne Hospital and the Homecare personnel who looked after Dad. Special thank you to Dr. Gobeil. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10 in the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church with Father Edouard Bonin presiding.
