OLSON (nee BROWN) I was born at Osage, Sask. on February 22, 1921 and predeceased by my husband Hilding Edward Olson on October 22, 1990. I am survived by my loving daughters, Karen Commodore and Peggie Gudmundson (Vernon) and my granddaughters, Aileen and Julia Gudmundson. The youngest of five children, Carl (deceased). I am survived by three siblings, Irene Moffet of Sun City, Arizona, Gerry Brown (Marion) of Richmond Hill, Ont. and Freddie McMillan of Rohnert Park, California. As a young child, I enjoyed life on my parents farm and received my education in Regina, where I met my life-long friend in 1932, Roberta Cumbers. I moved to Winnipeg in 1942 and worked at Consolidated Motors for 12 years and two years at Midwest Storage. In 1951 I married Hilding and we moved to 2071 Roseneath Ave., Birds Hill in July 1956 where we raised our two daughters. From 1970 to 1984 and 1988 to 1992, I worked at the R.M. of East St. Paul Municipal Office. I have enjoyed my senior years as a member of the East St. Paul Seniors Club and the Middlechurch Seniors Supper Club. I want to thank my two loving daughters for all the joy and happiness they brought me in this life. I am grateful to my special friends, Hilda, Joan and Amy for their many kindnesses and a thank-you to everyone involved in Home Care for all their help. And a very special thank-you to my life-long friends, Bobbie and Grant Cumbers for all their wonderful friendship and many visits over all these years. Mom passed over very peacefully on November 6, 2000. We will miss you Mom, but we know you have moved on to a new and wonderful place, with our love.
