FRANK McKINNON May 19, 1955 - November 3, 2000 Suddenly on Friday, November 3, 2000 in Winnipeg. John Francis (Frank) McKinnon, age 45 years. He was predeceased by his father, Willard McKinnon of Charlottetown, P.E.I., and is survived by Nancy; his daughters, Allison and Kelly, of Winnipeg; mother Louise; sisters, Sheila and Susan; brothers, Carl and Kevin of Charlottetown. Frank was born and raised in Charlottetown and moved to Winnipeg in 1979. He enjoyed golf and all sports, but was especially involved in coaching girls softball at Deer Lodge Community Centre, where he also served as President for a term. He loved seeing the girls play and had many happy memories of those days. He was also involved in the Neighbourhood Watch Program in St. James. Frank was employed in Winnipeg by Boeing and Manitoba Hydro and volunteered at Winnipeg Harvest. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, November 11 at 9:30 a.m., in the Church of The Most Holy Redeemer, Charlottetown, P.E.I. Interment followed in the Charlottetown Roman Catholic Cemetery. A Service of Remembrance celebrating Franks life will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 10:00 a.m., in the Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch St., at Mount Royal Road. I would like to thank my friends and family who have filled this difficult time with love and compassion. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Franks memory to the Winnipeg Harvest, 1085 Winnipeg Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0S2.
