Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryF.G. WALLACE PALMER Wally Palmer aged 79, went home to be with his Lord on November 7, 2000. Wally was predeceased by his beloved wife Violet; his parents and two sisters. He will be deeply missed by his daughter Lynda of Vancouver, B.C.; his son Barry (Brenda) grandchildren, Jennifer (Dan) and Jason; great-granddaughter Daria; brother-in-law Cecil (Marcia) of Wainwright, Alta., Val Anderson and family of Ostenfeld, Man. and Larry Monteque and family of Quesnel, B.C., and many other friends. Wally was born in Vivian, Man. on November 17, 1920 where he received his early schooling. He then attended Winnipeg Bible School where he met and married his cherished wife Vi in 1943. Wally spent his working years at the CN Railway, retiring in 1982. He was very active in the church as well as being one of the founding members in the Winnipeg Christian Services Brigade. Funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Ken Johnston on Friday, November 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Kilcona Park Alliance Church, 1977 Norris Rd. (McIvor and Lagimodiere Blvd.) with interment at Transcona Cemetery. Reception to follow at Kilcona Park Alliance Church. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Angus McGowan for his dedication to both Vi and Wally, also Carolyn Blieske and the Home Care Personnel for their continued support in the recent years. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Wally may be made to the Youth for Christ, 325 Talbot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2L 0P9. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
