Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNICE KNOCKAERT Peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2000, Bernice Knockaert, 62, of Bergland, ON passed away at the Rainy River Hospital in Rainy River. She was born on February 16, 1938 in Regina, SK. Bernice had lived in Winnipeg, MB until moving to Bergland in 1989 and had lived there since. She was the owner/operator of the St. Claude Motor Hotel and the Headingley Motor Inn. She enjoyed cooking and visiting with her family and many friends. She was especially fond of her grandchildren. Bernice leaves to cherish her memory her husband George and their children, Glenn (Monique) Randy, and Jill (Richard), and grandchildren, Brian, Shanna, Christine and Joanne. Also surviving are her sisters, Barbara (Terry), Joan (Gene), Evelyn (Ross), and brother Romeo (Jane), as well as many nieces, nephews and her many dear and close friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Albina Lipp, and sisters, Lillian, Mary, Verna, Jessie and Margaret. Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. 1 East at Green Acres Lane, Winnipeg, with Rev. Fr. Fred Olds officiating. In memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Rainy River Chapter, care of Mrs. Sophie Arpin, Box 551, Rainy River, ON P0W 1L0.
