Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALFRED KEELEY Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Alfred Keeley on Wednesday, November 8, 2000, at 86 years of age, at Grace General Hospital in Winnipeg. He is survived by his wife Vera; his sons, Alfred and Lorne; his daughters, Gail and Lynn; his grandchildren, Darwin, Sean, Terrilyn and Gerald; sisters, Hilda, Theodora and Ethewyn; brother Earnest; son-in-law Douglas Jackson and daughter-in-law Marlene; numerous nephews and one niece. He was predeceased by his brothers, John and Allard. Alfred was born in Montreal on November 8, 1914. He served with distinction, in the armed forces for five years during the Second World War and for 20 years after the war. In 1965 he retired to Ninette, where he worked at the Ninette Sanatorium and the Training Centre for the Mentally Challenged. For the past four years he has been living in Winnipeg. He was a wonderful and supportive husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed and remembered fondly.
