PETER KOSOWAN On Friday, November 10, 2000 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Mr. Peter Kosowan of Gardenton passed away at the age of 84 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Joyce (Mike) Shepit of Gardenton, Jean Picklyk of Winnipeg; one son Jarvis of Calgary, Alta; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Katherine in 1993; son Jimmy in 1958; son-in-law Paul Picklyk in 1992. Viewing and family devotional will be held on Sunday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church at Gardenton with Rev. Father John Melnyk officiating. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. Arrangements entrusted to Loewen Funeral Chapel of Steinbach, 204-326-1351.
