WILLIAM DALL "BILLY" HOLMS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of our dearly beloved son and brother William Dall (Billy) Holms. Born December 4, 1940, Billy passed away November 9, 2000 at Kildonan Personal Care Centre, Henderson Highway at the age of 59 years. Billy is survived by his mother Jean Davidson; two brothers, Stewart (Janet) and Gordon of Winnipeg; nieces and nephew, Tracy Olafson, Joanne Vielhaber, Glenn Holms. He will be sadly missed by his Aunt Mabel and Uncle Joe Sibbald, of Sidney, B.C.; Aunt Grace Stewart and family; Aunt Wilma Stewart and family. Billy was predeceased by his loving father Robert Holms, August 26, 1962; his step-father John Davidson; his grandmother and grandfather Mary and Alex Stewart. Billy worked at Versatech for many years. He was a good bowler, swimmer and he loved music. He lived at S.P.I.K.E. Home and he was so happy with all his friends. Billy lived with his mother, till he took sick. The family would like to thank all the staff of Kildonan Personal Care Centre, for all the love and care given to him. Cremation has taken place, and the funeral will be held Thursday, November 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Highway, with Reverend Brent Denham officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gordon King Memorial Church, 127 Cobourg Avenue, or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
