Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNICE OLIN (nee GREENBERG) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother and baba, Bernice Olin after a brief illness on November 13, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital. Bernice leaves to cherish her memory her children, Paul (Elaine), Art and Sandra; her grandchildren, Jason, Brenlee, Marshal and Daniel Olin. Bernice was predeceased by her parents, Essak and Anne Greenberg; brothers, Silas Greenberg, Samuel Greenberg and Ben Green; sisters, Francis Markson, Nell Hallis and Reva Aronovitch. She is survived by her brother Martin Greenberg. Bernice was a loving mother and grandmother. She was young at heart, had a wonderful sense of humour and a warm and forgiving nature. She spent most of her life in Winnipeg enjoying family and friends and later in life made several trips to the Caribbean and Mexico. She derived great pleasure from flowers and plants and was forever trying to grow them. She will be missed. A graveside service was held at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery on Wednesday, November 15 with Rabbi Alan Green and Rabbi Louis Berkal officiating. Pallbearers were grandsons, Marshal and Daniel Olin; nephews, Brian Aronovitch and Eric Green; cousin Harold Black; and Ernie Chisick. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Vincent Taraska and the staff at the Victoria General Hospital for their compassionate care. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
