Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALD (GERRY) GRANT SHORE 1944 - 2000 On Tuesday, October 31, 2000, Gerald Grant "Gerry" Shore of Kamloops passed away at the age of 56 years. Gerry was born and raised in Morden, MB. He went west at age 17 and became involved in the logging industry throughout B.C., residing in Surrey for some 15 years. In 1990, he moved to Kamloops where he purchased Jasco Rentals which he continued to operate until the time of his passing. Gerry had many close friends. He was a member of the Kamloops Golf and Country Club. He enjoyed Blazer Hockey and other spectator sports with his family and friends. Gerry is survived by two brothers, Haze and Shirley of Morden, MB, and Gary and Diane of Edmonton, AB, one sister Patricia and Alan McGeachy of Edmonton, nieces and nephews, Judy (Rhys) Brunn, Brad (Nicole) Shore, Joanne (Steve) Woods, Leanne McGeachy, Scott McGeachy, Michelle Shore (James Harkins) and Bryan Shore; and great nieces and nephews, Bo and Bailee Woods Melissa Brunn, Riley Shore and Christopher Harkins. A Service of Remembrance was held in Kamloops at the Schoening Funeral Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4 with the Reverend Joseph MacDonald officiating. Gerrys cremated remains have returned to his home town for interment in the Morden Cemetery. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, November 17 at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden at 2:00 p.m. The family wished to express their gratitude to Dr. Mabee, Dr. Donaldson and staff at the Kamloops Cancer Clinic, and the staff on six South at R.I.H. for their special care. Should friends desire, donations to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, Cancer Service Fund, 311 Columbia St., Kamloops, BC, V2C 2T1 would be appreciated in Gerrys memory. Service arrangements are entrusted to Wiebe Funeral Chapel of Morden 204-822-4755.
