MARIE ANNE DESROSIERS (nee COTE) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marie Anne Desrosiers, on November 14, 2000, at Foyer Valade at the age of 94 years. She was born on August 4, 1906 in St. Pierre du Sud, comte Montmagny, Province de Quebec. With her family she lived in Ste. Anne West until 1960. She leaves to cherish her memory sons and daughters: Therese Legare (Roger), Maurice (Laura), Annette Bouchard (Roland), Lucille (Salmon), Helene Brooks (Lorne), Angele Mignon (John) and John; 31 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Auguste (1970) and her son Paul (1989). The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and the nursing staff of Foyer Valade for their dedicated care and support. Prayers will be held at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street on Thursday, November 16 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place in Ste. Anne-des-Chenes Roman Catholic Church, on Friday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie Annes memory may be made to Foyer Valade Family Room, 450 River Road, Winnipeg R2M 5M4 or to a charity of ones choice.
