AGNES (AGNIESZKA) MIALKOWSKI Agnes Mialkowski passed away November 17, 2000 at her residence early in the morning. Agnes was born January 10, 1927 in Poland, daughter of Jozef and Maria Antoniewicz and came to Canada in 1965. She married Marian Mialkowski and has lived in Winnipeg ever since. She was employed for Sport East Fashions for many years. She is survived by her husband Marian of Winnipeg; one brother, one sister, many nephews and nieces in Poland; Nephews Jerzy Rabiej, Wieslaw Rabiej of Hamilton, Ont., niece Barbara and Wojciech Mackowiak in Poland, as well as many cousins in Poland, Brazil and Canada and many friends and coworkers in Canada. Prayers will be said on Friday evening, November 24 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Luxton Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wojciech Mackowiak, Wieslaw Rabiej, Jerzy Rabiej, Zbigniew Piatkowski, George Kucera and Eugeniusz Podlesiecki.
