LAURA LOUISE MUNRO It is with deep sorrow that we the family announce the passing of Laura at the Russell Personal Care Home on November 16, 2000. Laura was predeceased by her husband, Reverend Percy Munro on September 10, 1990; her parents, William L. and Catherine (nee Fletcher) Johnson; her siblings, Sophia McConnell, William Louis Johnson, Christina Howe, Charles Johnson, Catherine Johnston, Victor Johnson and Edward Philip Johnson. Laura was born May 24, 1904 in Binscarth, MB. She taught school in several locations and met and married Percy at Clanwilliam, MB on July 21, 1938 where they farmed. They left the farm to attend Western Bible College in Winnipeg. Upon his graduation they entered the ministry where they served in various churches in Manitoba, the last church prior to their retirement being Calvary Temple in Winnipeg. Laura was truly a loving helpmate to her husband and is remembered fondly by all who knew her. The family wish to thank Sandra Cadiuex for her loving care and friendship to Laura for the past several years. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory would be appreciated to Calvary Place Foundation, 1325 Erin Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3E 3R6. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, at Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave Street, with Reverend Bruce Logan officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
