IRENE LAGASSE (nee KOSMAN) March 24, 1920 - November 17, 2000 It is with great sadness and loss that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, beloved Grandmother, and Great-grandmother, Irene, on November 17, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with leukemia. She was predeceased by her husband Phillip in 1984; her brothers, Lester, Norman, Lawrence and Melton and her sisters, Aggie (Delorme) and Molly (Zylema). Irene will be sadly missed by her sons, Leonard (Marion), Phil Jr. (Nancy), Vic (Sally), Bert (Sue) and by her daughter Rita (Dave) Perron. She also leaves to cherish her loving memory her brothers, Claude (Christine) and Charlie Kosman; her sisters, Faye (Harvey), Mae (Richard) and Rose; 12 grandchildren, Darlene (Al), Lisa, Warren, Troy (Melisa), Kevin (Julie), Russell, Marc, Paul, Joann (Brian), Jeremy, Melissa and Candice; six great-grandchildren, Nick, Tim, Ryan, Courtney, Bailey and Brittany and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Prayer service will be held on Tuesday, November 21 at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Adolphe R.C. Church in St. Adolphe, Man. Monseigneur Henry Perron and Father Pierre Dumaine will concelebrate the mass. Private interment of her cremated remains will take place in the Parish Cemetery at a later date. In our sorrow we will find comfort and peace knowing that the pain is gone. "All who knew her will deeply miss her, those who loved her always will."
