MARGARET MOWATT Gran has finished her duties as mom and left us peacefully on November 19, 2000 at the Selkirk General Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory son Andrew (Yvonne), their children Andrew (Loretta) and family; Karen, Allan (Melanie) and family and Kim; daughter-in-law Laura and her children Vernon (Lenora) and family, Valerie (Tim), Allan (Joan) and family and a mother at heart to grandchildren Clifford, Peggy, Cameron (Margaret) and family; Craig, Calvin, Debbie and family, and Auntie Maggie will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Gran was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 1982, son Clifford in 1979, daughter Lillian in 1983, son-in-law Oliver in 1986, father Joeseph in 1942, mother Margaret in 1961, and all of her brothers and sisters. Gran was born in Norway House, March 27, 1906. As her father worked for the Hudson Bay Company she lived in Island Lakes, Gods Lake and Oxford House in her early childhood. She married our Gramps in Norway House on January 31, 1924. They made their home and raised their family at Warrens Landing until they moved to Selkirk in 1981. Gran and Gramps were one of the first and last settlers of the Hamlet of Warrens Landing. Grans home was always open to all of her relatives, in both Selkirk and Warrens Landing. Gran will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, November 21st (tonight) at 8:15 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home Selkirk. Funeral services and interment will take place at Norway House, MB. "The Lord Is My Shepherd" Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
