MARION GERTRUDE CUMMING Nee (Anderson) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Marion Cumming on November 17, 2000. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Stuart; daughter Linda (Richard) sons Bob, Larry (Pat), Randy (Jackie), and John; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as their dog Coco. She is survived by her brother Norman Anderson and her sister Margaret "Buds" Locke. Marion was born in Fort Garry, Manitoba in 1924. She and Stuart were married in 1943. In her early years she worked at Paulins and then The Bay. The majority of her life was devoted to raising five children, a task that she performed with love and unending patience. Marion was a much-loved Grandma and Great-grandma and filled those roles with exceptional love and caring. Stuart and Marion enjoyed trailering and traveled extensively across Canada and the USA. They were members of the Good Sams Trailer Club and enjoyed many years of friendship and travel with others from the club. Special thanks to EMS and WFD for their valiant efforts and friends for their heartfelt support. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Riverview Health Centre Foundation, 1 Morley Avenue, Winnipeg MB R3L 9Z9 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. Memorial service for Marion will be held on Wednesday, November 22 at 10:00 a.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment and reception will follow. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
