CLIFFORD ERIC AUBREY TUCK Mr. Clifford Tuck, beloved husband of Mary, passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on Sunday, November 19, 2000 at the age of 79 years. Cliff was born March 16, 1921 in St. Boniface, MB. He and Mary were married April 27, 1946 and resided in St. Vital during their 54 years of marriage. Besides his loving wife Mary, Cliff will be lovingly remembered by his children, Clifford (Angela) and their children, Kristen Goodman (Ron), their children, Sara, Hanna; Travis (Natasha) Doug (Donna) and their children, Jeffrey, Amanda and Derek; Debbie Burgess (Bud) and their children, Shannon Chisholm (Chris) and Christopher. He will also be fondly remembered by his sister Iris and brother Gordon (Marie-Louise). Cliff started working at Red River Grain until he joined the army in 1941. He served overseas with the Royal Canadian Engineers during the Second World War until his discharge in February, 1946. Upon discharge, he returned to Red River Grain for a few years before starting his long term career with Bristol Aerospace, retiring in 1983. Cliff was a devoted family man. He and his family spent many, happy summers at West Hawk Lake. Cliff was very active with his sons, coaching them in hockey and baseball and in later years enjoyed curling with the Nicolett Curling Club as well as golfing with his family at Falcon Lake. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in their sporting activities. Special thanks to Dr. Hedden and staff on the Orthopaedic Ward at St. Boniface Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 23 at 2:30 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
