MATTHEW GREGORCHUK After a lengthy illness Matthew Gregorchuk, beloved husband of Lucy, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2000, in the St. Boniface Hospital. Matthew was born on November 2, 1929. He was raised in Arbakka, MB, where he also farmed for many years. In 1975 Matt moved to Winnipeg and was employed at the Boyd Building. He had a resort for eight years, and especially enjoyed the outdoors. Besides his loving wife he leaves to mourn his stepchildren, Larry (Rita) Therrien, Daniel (Rose) Therrien, Darlene Therrien (Don Hunter), Michel (Brenda) Therrien; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his brothers, Bill (Helen) Gregorchuk of Winnipeg and Peter Gregorchuk of London, ON; sisters-in-law Irene Mortier, Della Cormier, Roma (Rolly) Laurence, Lea Desrochuk and Rose Desrochuk and many nieces and nephews. Matthew was predeceased by his parents, Manoly and Warwara; four brothers and one sister. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 24 at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 847 St. Marys Rd., with Rev. Fr. Gerry Ward presiding. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Matts memory to a charity of ones choice.
