HELENE TRUDEL (nee Peloquin) December 13, 1932 - November 21, 2000 Our most precious wife, mom and memere was taken by the hand of God on Tuesday, November 21, 2000 at the age of 67 years. Helene will be sadly missed by her husband Gilbert; their ten children, Gerald (Nicole), Nicole (Ron) Clement, Ginette Fontaine, Micheline Trudel (Mark Orieux), Martial (Tracy), all of Winnipeg; Alain (Elaine) and Brigitte (Jacques) Roy of St. Adolphe; Marc (Leonne), Mona (Allen) Laszchuk and Rachelle (Russ) Desrosiers of St. Malo, as well as their 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Helene will also be lovingly remembered by numerous extended family members. Helene was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Florentine Peloquin, as well as her two brothers, Denis and Jean. Helene was born on December 13, 1932 in Ste. Agathe, MB. She was raised in St. Malo where she settled for 48 years with her loving husband. Helene was a loving and compassionate wife, mother and grandmother. She had a very special rapport with her grandchildren and was intensely proud of them and their accomplishments. She always made each and every one of them feel special and loved. In our sorrow we will find comfort and peace knowing that the pain is gone and your eternal flame has been lit. Special thanks are extended by the family to Dr. G. Louridas and all the attending medical staff in M.I.C.U., St. Boniface Hospital. To honour Moms wishes, cremation has taken place. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Joseph Choiselat in the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church in St. Malo, MB on Saturday, November 25 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery following the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helenes memory to the Heart & Stroke Fund, St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation, Rm. D1003, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, R2H 2A6.
