FRANK WHITLAM 1928 - 2000 It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Frank Whitlam on Tuesday, November 21, 2000 at the age of 72 years. He was predeceased by his wife Rusty on February 12, 1995. Franks memory will be cherished by his daughters, Laurie and husband Wayne; daughter Lynda and husband Glen; grandchildren, Wayne, Kirk, Dean, Shannon and Shawn; brother-in-law Mac and wife Allison and sister-in-law Iona. He will also be missed by a special cousin, Scotty and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Frank will be best remembered for his unique sense of humour, his kindness, generosity and his volunteer work at "his office". Franks career started in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Frank made many friends across Canada as a trucker. His years before retiring were spent driving his "kids" as a Seven Oaks bus driver. After retiring, his time was spent with his friends at the office, Odd Fellows as well as the Royal Canadian Legion in Stonewall. The family wishes to thank Val Martin, Ellis Morrison, Terry Alix, Christine and Diane from Homecare as well as the staff and nurses, especially Eleanor and Trudy at Selkirk General Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 25 at 11:30 a.m. at Selkirk United Church, 202 McLean Ave., Selkirk, Man.
