Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILFRED GORDON SEEL (SPIKE) Peacefully on Tuesday, November 21, 2000, Wilfred (Spike) Seel passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 79 years. He was born in Lipton, Saskatchewan on June 27, 1921. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen in 1995; two brothers, George and Harold. Wilfred is survived by his son Don (Helen) of Calgary and daughter Darleen (Ivan) Ingaldson of Winnipeg as well as seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; brother Don (Ruth) and sister Irene (Bill) Herner of Winnipeg. Wilfred joined the R.C.A.F. in 1939, returned to Winnipeg in 1946, whereupon he joined the Winnipeg Fire Dept. retiring in 1986 as District Deputy Chief. He was a life member of Rockwood A.N.A.F. No. 303 and also a life member of Ancient Landmark Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Herner, Larry Seel, Doug Seel, Lloyd Miller, Bob Podolsky and Oscar Lindstrom. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24 in Garry Memorial Park followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway.
