ELMA FRIESEN Mrs. Elma Friesen, nee Dueck, aged 78 years, dearly beloved wife of Henry R. Friesen of Rosenort, passed away on Monday November 20, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her passing her children, Lorne (Gilberte) of Calgary, Betty (Andy) Klassen of Vernon, B.C., Irene (Glenn) Siemens, Jerry (Nancy), Allen (Judy) all of Rosenort, Karen Peters of Swan River; 18 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. Elma is also survived by four brothers, Henry K.(Marion) Dueck, Glen Friesen, Gene Kornelsen, and Werner Kornelsen; and her sister Nina (Al) Laing. She was predeceased by her parents David and Elizabeth Dueck, daughter Carol Friesen, daughter-in-law Fleurette Friesen, son-in-law Daryll Peters, and sister Mary Pearson. The funeral service will be held on Friday November 24 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rosenort Fellowship Chapel. Interment in the Rosenort Cemetery. There will be viewing at the Morris Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service.
