HELENE DUPAS Helene Dupas of Swan River, Man., passed away on November 16, 2000, in the Swan River Valley Hospital at the age of 79 years. Helene was born in Winnipegosis, Man., on April 24, 1921, to Rosalie (Fleury) and Alexander "Sandy" Campbell. She received her education at Salt Point, Man. Helene is survived by four sons, Art (Shirley), Ernest (Marlene), Jerry (Judy) and Brian (Candy) 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Glen (Frances), Gordon and Ralph; three sisters, Edna (Ron), Frances (Willy), Angele (Camille) a sister-in-law Carol and several nieces and nephews, plus her extended family. She was predeceased by her husband George Dupas on February 15, 1977; by her mother and father; four brothers, Walter, George, Ernest and Clarence; two sisters, Pauline and Alice and two sons, Wilfred and Gordie. A memorial service was held on November 20, at 10:00 from the Chapel of Paull Funeral Home, Swan River, Man., with Reverend Nigel Packwood officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in the Winnipegosis Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
