EDNA MAY SCOTT (nee ROWBOTTOM) It is with great sadness and loss that we announce the passing of our dear mother, beloved grandmother and great-grandmother on Wednesday, November 22, 2000 at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre. May, as she was known, was born in Kenora, ON on September 22, 1912. May is survived by three children, Carol Ryback (Walter), Lorne (Valerie) and Susan Wardell (Rick) five grandchildren, Darren Ryback (Kathy), Kelly Ryback (Laura), Lori Lobchuk (Chester), Michele Scott, John Scott (Diane), five great-grandchildren and one brother Alex Rowbottom (Grace) in Kitchener, ON. May was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1956 and her sister Irene. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Golden Door for their dedicated care and kindness given to Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association. As was Moms wishes, a private family interment will be held.
