WILLIAM (BILL) HUTCHINSON Bill Hutchinson, beloved husband of Veronica, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday, November 26, 2000 in the Concordia Hospital, at the age of 71 years. Bill is survived by his wife Veronica; daughter Joan and husband Doug DeJonckheere; grandsons Ryan and Adam. He also leaves to mourn his sisters Beth (John Stocks) of Kindersley, SK, Vivian (Norman Pedersen) of Cabri, SK and sisters-in-law, June of Victoria, B.C. Helen (Leo Cvitkovitch) and Madeline Polak, as well as numerous nieces and nephews throughout Canada. Bill was predeceased by his sister Doris, brother Jim and nephew Donald. Bill was born in Richlea, SK and lived in many cities before he settled in Winnipeg. His working career began at the age of 17 and included various positions. The most recent and fulfilling job was at Bristol Aerospace where he worked for 11 years until his retirement in 1991. Bill lived life to the fullest. His happiest times were spent with his grandsons Ryan and Adam with whom he enjoyed many soccer and baseball games. Also, his weekly drives through the country with Veronica and his good friend Walter. The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital NINORTH for their care and compassion and to Dr. D. Caners for his support. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 29 at 9:30 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Highway No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane, with Rev. Fr. Pierre Wood, O.F.M., Cap. presiding. The interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bills memory can be made to the St. Gerard School Building Fund 40 Foster St. Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1V7.
