IDA MAY DUFFILL With great sorrow, we announce the passing on Saturday, November 25, 2000 of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, age 90 years. She will be sadly missed by daughter Marian Stangl and son Milton (Margaret) Duffill; grandchildren, Ken (Lana), Donna, Douglas (Janice), Teresa (Harvey) and Sidney (Silvia), Andrew (Kathy) (Calgary) great-grandchildren, Dustin, John, Shannon, Jorian, Matthew, Layne, Lindy, Kurtis and Justin (Calgary). She was predeceased by her husband Sidney, December 16, 1975. May lived in Winnipeg and then Blackdale, MB after her marriage for 20 years. She was a school teacher, then later worked for Eatons. She enjoyed crafts, crossword puzzles and Bingo, while living at Donwood Manor from 1975 to 1998. She loved and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and her friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home for their kindness given to May and her family. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mays memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Wpg, R3B 2H8.
