Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM GEORGE LANGTRY On Tuesday, November 21, 2000 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, George Langtry, aged 69 years. George was born June 3, 1931 at Winnipeg General Hospital and grew up on the family farm near Roland, Manitoba. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in 1951. George was predeceased by his father Elmer George Langtry in 1972; mother Molly (Mary Smith) in 1973; brother-in-law Frederick B. Grahame in 1996 and nephew James Elmer Grahame in 1998. George is survived by his loving wife Shirley; sister Maureen Grahame of Dundas, Ontario; daughters, Maureen, Karen (Keith) Hailley of Winnipeg, Heather of New Zealand, Catherine and Carolyn and son Bill (friend Helen) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, David (Jennifer), Sarah and Daniel Hailley; niece Elaine Grahame of Dundas, Ontario. The family extends their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital for their compassionate care of George during his final illness. Funeral service will be held at Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman, Manitoba on Tuesday, November 28, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Neville W.B. Phills officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Roland, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
