WILLEM FLORIS LUINENBURG Willem Floris Luinenburg passed away at his home on November 19, 2000 at the age of 67 years. Wim was born in Indonesia in 1933 and later grew up in Holland. With his wife Deliane, they immigrated to Canada in 1957. Living just outside of Winnipeg, Man. they raised their family of four children. Wim worked initially in a furnace factory, then as a teacher and later, as a farmer. He and Deliane retired in 1993 and moved to B.C. where they built another beautiful home together. Wim loved sailing, politics, gardening, the weather, and music. His thirst for knowledge gave family a wide range of information to ponder. All who knew Wim will miss his intelligent banter, his wit and his caring. He leaves behind his wife Deliane; his four children, Marits (Anna, Leah, Bree, Mark, Lisa, Matthew, Michelle) Erik (Carol, Kristofer, Mikhail, Kai) Aaike (Gord, Kaile, Garet) and Oline (Vern). A private service has been held in his honour.
