Jimmy & I met in grade 1 at Centennial school. We were on a baseball team called the 7ups ..we were terrible. Jim & I were fortunate to see a huge meteor one evening on my way to Cubs. Even at our young age we could see it was skimming the atmosphere. It came from the east then right over us in the west. It was a beautiful clear night but we stared at each other with just WOW! I’m 72 this year and had wanted to call him to see what he remembered. When I saw he passed away it brought tears to my eyes.
