He leaves to mourn, his wife of 46 years Vivian; five children and ten grandchildren, Ron, (Rosemary), Justin and Tyler, Ken, (Leslie), Holly, Melissa and Joel, Jennifer, (Chris), Trevor, Devon and Leila Kristjanson, Heather, (Grant), Michael and Matthew Binda and David. He also leaves to mourn his mother Rosa; brothers, Gordon (Gloria), Allan (Evelyn), Eric (Linda), Edward (Jackie) sisters, May and Rosa and numerous nieces and nephews. Art was predeceased by his infant son Daniel; infant brother; father Kolbeinn; brothers, Mindi and Frankie and sister Bernice. Art was born in Winnipeg, August 1, 1933. He grew up near Gimli and attended school in Gimli and Dnister. Dad loved the outdoors. He loved to snowmobile, ice fish, go sliding and skating. He also loved to work in his garage, building this or repairing that. He was always doing something for one of his kids or grandkids. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was very proud of them all. Dad was always a hard worker. He was a "Jack of all trades", always inventing something and never said he couldnt do something even with only one useable arm. He always found a way to do it. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. C. Chapnick for his wonderful care through the years and to Dr. S.V. Patel, nurses, Sandy and Carol for their compassion and kindness while he was in their care. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Horizons 55 Plus Centre, North Colonization Road, Gimli. Interment will follow at the Gimli Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gordon, Allan, Eric, Edward Goodman, Donnie Holm and Robert Kristjanson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Wpg, MB R3B 2H8. Dad we are going to miss you very much and will never forget you. We love you, goodbye for now. "Goda Nott" NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
