TENNIE (TINA) MEDERSKI Tina Mederski passed away peacefully in the Central Park Lodge Poseidon Centre on November 26, 2000, at the age of 98 years. Tina was born in Husiatyn, Poland on January 20, 1902. She came to Canada in 1911 and attended Lord Roberts School. She was predeceased by son William Mederski in 1997, six brothers, and one sister. Left to mourn are son Charles (Joyce) daughters, Emily Zubricki of Winnipeg, Wanda Retzlaff and Josephine Fowler of Elgin, Texas, Sue Trist (Bob) of Surrey B.C.; daughter-in-law Amelia Mederski and sister Frances Yorke of Winnipeg; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. on Wednesday, November 29 at 10:00 a.m. Reception will follow the service in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Many thanks to the staff on the 3rd floor of the Central Park Lodge Poseidon Centre for the excellent care they gave our mother in the last 2 years. In lieu of flowers, please give to any charity of your choosing. Pallbearers will be Jim, Jeffrey and Bradley Mederski, Bob Moire, Allan Smith, and David Zubricki.
