DONALD (EARL) KENNEDY Donald (Earl) Kennedy, beloved husband of Olive, passed away two months short of his 93rd birthday. He was born in High Bluff on January 25, 1908. He is survived by his wife, Olive, of 70 years; sons Harvey (Hendrika), Russell, Ray, Murray (Phyllis) one daughter Doreen Stack; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two daughters-in-law, Margaret and Bareth and one son-in-law, Joe Stack. Dad was a resident of Portage la Prairie and Brandon, and then moved to Winnipeg where he has spent the last 30 years. Dad was active to the very end, enjoying and participating in the activities at Lions Place. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1 at 3:00 p.m., at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with Pastor Bruce Logan officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will take place in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dads memory to the Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7.
